Event Description

Amazon Books for Libraries (included for free with NJLA Enhanced Institutional Membership) is enhancing MARC records by the end of 2025 with BISAC subject headings, audience information, and 9XX tags. They are also working with the Library of Congress to add LC subject headings.

Another important tool for libraries: Amazon’s “Business Analytics” page for tracking backorders and shipments. Please let Amazon know if you have any feedback to share as they continue to develop this new service for libraries.
