MentorNJ Meet-up: Support for Intellectual Freedom Fighters

MentorNJ is hosting special online meetup sessions designed to address issues of intellectual freedom and the unprecedented attacks not only on library materials themselves, but on the library workers purchasing, promoting, and defending them.

The recent increased instances of challenges to library materials across the country and here in New Jersey - as well as the accompanying aggressive behaviors targeted at library staff in the wake of such challenges - have presented unique and urgent challenges, concerns, and needs from our library community. Whether you are a library worker who has experienced such a challenge, are preparing for the possibility of one, or simply wish to offer your support and perspective, we encourage you to join us for this special one-hour Meetup where we will share our experiences, advice, and support. All New Jersey library workers are welcome.
