LLNJ Skill Sharing Conversation

Topic: Skill-Sharing Conversation: Bringing Comic Con to the Library

Comic book conventions have seen a surge in popularity in recent years. At the same time, graphic novels remain one of the most in-demand genres in libraries of all types. "It's no surprise, then, that comics-themed events at libraries are drawing crowds," according to Publisher’s Weekly. "Besides being a grand old time, comic cons benefit libraries by bringing in new readers and showcasing particularly strong graphic novel collections."

Are you interested in throwing a Comic Con at your library, but are unsure where to start? Then this Zoom skill-sharing conversation is for you! Come ready to share with and learn from your library colleagues across the state as we share advice on hosting comic conventions at the library with limited budget and resources. All are welcome!
