Event Description

LLNJ Skill Sharing Conversation

Topic: Skill-Sharing Conversation: Handicraft Circles for All Ages

Craft programs and projects have long been popular in libraries of all types. At the same time, handicrafts—crafts that are made by hand—are increasing in popularity among community members of all ages. What better way to draw people to the library than by combining the two?

Join us as we share advice on starting a handicraft circle for patrons who knit, crochet, do needlework, or handicraft of any kind. Come ready to share with and learn from your library colleagues across the state as we share handicraft projects and programming ideas. All are welcome!
