The Piscataway Public Library served as a super-affiliate for this years Makercamp sponsored by MAKE magazine and Google +.
LibraryLinkNJ documents a tour of NextFab Studio, a large, for-profit maker space in the warehouse district of Philadelphia. We need to visit local maker spaces and brainstorm with them on the benefits of collaboration with libraries.
This is a great way for libraries to participate in the Maker movement without a maker space. This program, which will be in its second year in 2013, allows you to use the Google+ platform to connect DIY project presenters with youir tween and teens.
