Cindy Czesak has spent her career in public libraries, going from Page to Library Assistant to Children's Librarian and, finally to Director. She was the Director of the Clifton Public Library for 14 years, before moving to the Directorship at the Paterson Public Library; she recently retired after 17 years there.
Cindy values collaborative relationships, whether within the Library for which she is responsible, with other library colleagues or with community partners. She has managed the construction of a new Main Library in Clifton, was one of the five founders of the PALS Plus consortium, and has been very active in NJLA and ALA over the years. She is now assisting the management of the New Jersey Library Trustee Association, among other consulting positions.
