Tuesday Night at the Conference

Tuesday Night at the NJASL/NJLA Joint Conference 2026

We're just days away from the 2026 NJLA-NJASL Annual Conference! We are excited to kick it off on Tuesday evening with three free events that are open to everyone who registers for the conference! We'll start at 5:30 p.m. with our Exhibits Opening Reception, featuring our sold out hall with 106 booths! New this year: Partner Demonstrations and Lightning Talks to update you on the latest products and services. Stop by for your free beverage and hors d'oeuvres!

After the Reception, join us at 7:00 p.m. in Sound Waves for The Librarians. This powerful documentary reveals the network behind the book banning wave, and the brave librarians who are keeping book access free to all. Keynote Amanda Jones joins 2023 New Jersey Librarian of the Year, Martha Hickson, for a post-screening discussion, moderated by NJASL/NJLA Rapid Response Team lead and 2024 NJLA President's Award winner, Amy Penwell, and Corey Fleming, NJLA and Freedom to Read Foundation board member. Be sure to join us!

Stay in Sound Waves after the discussion for Game Night! Celebrate the fifth anniversary of this popular, conference-opening tradition by bringing a game to share, or take this opportunity to learn a new game! We will have free snacks and soft drinks to enjoy during game night, which wraps up at 11:00 p.m.

If you have already registered and forgot to RSVP to any of these events, you can login to the registration page and add them at no charge. Don't forget to make your hotel reservation by February 9 to lock in the $79 rate!

See you in Atlantic City!
