I started out working with libraries in high school (Metuchen Public Library!) as a library page and again in college. I became an elementary teacher with a specialization in special education. When I started having children, I left teaching to stay home with them and my husband and I homeschooled all three! I began working part-time jobs and ended up at the Swedesboro Library in 1998, which later became part of the Gloucester County Library System. During my years here, I moved up in the ranks and ended up being a Youth Services Librarian. In 2016 I received my Masters in Library Science and the rest is history!
