Super Library Supervisor

Registration for the "Super Library Supervisor Workshop Series 2016" will open at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 10th.

This annual series of training workshops in supervisory skills has been serving the New Jersey library community for over 15 years.

Location: Monroe Township Public Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 (Middlesex County)

Target Audience: Library staff who are currently supervisors and have less than five years of supervisory experience. (More experienced supervisors are welcome, if this is their first supervisory training.)

This is a series of 4 workshops - participants must commit to attend all 4.

Space is limited to 30 participants (no more than two from from one library organization).

Deadline: Registration will close on Wednesday February 24th. We will accept up to 100 registrants then 30 participants will be chosen by lottery.

Cost: $199 - includes all course materials, continental breakfast and lunch for all 4 sessions.

This workshop series is extremely popular and last year all 25 seats were filled within 15 minutes of registration opening. This year we are updating and creating an even more equitable registration process. In addition to expanding the available seats from 25 to 30, we are taking the following steps:

Registration will stay open until 100 spots are filled
Once we close registration, we will put all names into a numbered spreadsheet
Using a random number generator, we will accept 30 lottery winners
We are maintaining the limit of up to two participants from one library organization

This year we are updating and creating an even more equitable registration process. In addition to expanding the available seats from 25 to 30, we are taking the following steps:

DO NOT WAIT TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT UNTIL THE DAY REGISTRATION OPENS! The approval process takes time and you may not be able to register in time.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel up to ten 10 business days before a scheduled class/event without penalty and receive a credit for another class or a full refund. If you cancel less than ten days before, you are responsible for payment. The only exception is if LibraryLinkNJ cancels the class/event.

LibraryLinkNJ reserves the right to cancel any class/event that is less than 60% full within 7 business days of the class. If LibraryLinkNJ cancels a class, you will receive a credit toward another class or a full refund. In the event of a class cancellation, we will make every attempt to notify you directly at least 48 hours in advance.

Class/event cancellations due to snow or severe weather conditions will be listed on our main page.

You may also call LibraryLinkNJ at 732-752-7720 or 866-505-5465 (LINK) after 7AM on the day of the class. A staff member or pre-recorded message will inform you if any classes/events have been cancelled due to weather conditions.
