She is currently writing a book on Successful Communications for Librarians. Her most recent books are Classroom Management for School Librarians (ALA editions, 2020) and Leading for School Librarians: There is No Other Option (ALA editions, 2017). She also co- authored Being Indispensable: A School Librarian’s Guide to Becoming an Invaluable Leader (ALA Editions, 2010), and New on the Job: A School Librarian’s Guide to Success, 2nd ed. (ALA Editions 2015). She is the recipient of AASL’s 2016 Distinguished Service Award.
