Zines and zine-making are easy ways toward inclusive collaboration between your library and your patrons. Join us at this casual in-person gathering to talk about what zines are, how easy they are to create and share, and ways to offer them alongside other forms of standard library publications. Drop in anytime during these 3 hours (stay as long or as little as you like) to learn about art journaling, read some zines, browse reference books about zines, and maybe make a zine or two! Bring your curiosity and questions, and if you’ve begun a zine library, share your successes and failures - we want to build a strong support network of “Zine Librarians”! MentorNJ Technology Meetups are a casual way to share information, resources, ideas and troubleshooting tips and tricks with each other. Topics are decided on either through the suggested topic field on the registration form or that day of. Any tech topic is fair game!

These meetups are for staff at any library type, and any staff level working with or interested in technology and particularly technology in libraries.
