Forums

The Edison Public Library is “on the move” and looking to fill a unique Supervising Librarian position of Branch Manager for the Clara Barton Branch Library/Library Manager Bookmobile.  Our Clara Barton Branch is currently being relocated from its current location to a retail location on a main commercial street.  The Library suspended Bookmobile service over 4 years ago and is in the process of restarting it with a “refurbished” bus.  In addition, a new smaller Bookmobile is on-order and will be delivered in fall 2023.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in outreach, community services and engagement.  We expect to add additional services to the Clara Barton Branch in 2023 including Passport Services and a “Library of Things.”
