Location: M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library
Salary: $ 73,000 annually
Schedule: Based on library needs and will include days, evenings & occasional weekends
The Camden County Library is seeking a collaborative team leader to manage the M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library. This exempt level position reports to the Associate Director and is a member of the Library’s Management Team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch including services to the public, programming, staffing, and collection development
- Supervising branch staff including training and development, scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Ensuring that the branch grounds and facility are clean, attractive, safe, and secure
- Assisting customers of all ages at public service desks and public computers as well as resolving complex customer issues
- Develops the branch’s annual budget request and monitors expenditures throughout the year
- Leading branch staff in connecting with the community to promote the library

Requirements:
A Master's degree in Library or Information Science in a library program accredited by the American Library Association or from a New Jersey Master's program in Library Science that has been deemed acceptable by Thomas Edison State College and three (3) years full time equivalent of professional librarian experience. *Prior supervisory experience a plus.
The chosen candidate is required to obtain a valid Professional Librarian Certificate issued by Thomas Edison State College.
