Salary: $24.7672 per hour ($45,076.30 annually-Librarian 1)
$26.0049 per hour ($47,328.92 annually-Librarian 2)
Schedule: 35 hours per week - Based on library needs and will include days, evenings & occasional weekends

Description of Duties
The Adult Services Department of the Camden County Library is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and creative Librarian who loves to work with the public both in person and virtually. Duties include providing adult reference services in person, by phone and via email; instructing library customers how to use our catalog, databases, digital content and services; collection development; developing, scheduling, and conducting a variety of in person and virtual programs for adults including creating and teaching computer training classes; community outreach; and staffing the computer lab as needed. May act as the Person-in-Charge of the branch. May be scheduled at other Library facilities.
Education/Certification/Experience/ Requirements:
A Master's degree in Library or Information Sciences in a library program accredited by the American Library Association or from a New Jersey College Master' program in Library Science that has been deemed acceptable by Thomas Edison State College.
Possession of a NJ Professional Librarian Certificate issued by Thomas Edison College or the credentials and willingness to obtain a NJ Professional Librarian Certificate upon hiring. Appointee may be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
Librarian 2 requires: One year of full time equivalent professional librarian experience as well as the requirements listed above
