Computer Technical Assistant Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library
The Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library seeks an enthusiastic, tech-knowledgeable, customer service-oriented individual to join our friendly team.
Primary Duties:
- Work with Adult Services staff to assist patrons with computer questions in person and on the phone.
- Work with patrons one-on-one to teach basic computer skills.
- Work with library staff to troubleshoot computer issues on staff and public computers.
- Assist with other computer/technical questions as needed.
- Assist with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office, basic networking (including wireless), and Windows and computer troubleshooting.
- Experience with tablets and other tech devices.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Flexible schedule.
- Spanish language a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of SAM computer management, SIRSI Workflows, and Faronics Deep Freeze a plus, but not required.
Schedule: Saturdays 9-5 (9-12:30 during the summer), Sundays 12-5, additional fill-in hours, as needed
Salary: $17.37/hr
