Location: Riletta L. Cream Ferry Avenue Branch
Salary: $25.5158 per hour ($46,438.76 annually-Librarian 1)
$26.7909 per hour ($48,759.43 annually-Librarian 2)
Schedule: 35 hours per week - Based on library needs and will include days, evenings & weekends

The Camden County Library System is seeking a librarian with strong computer training skills to provide classes in the Ferry Avenue Branch’s newly created Digital Literacy Classroom. This project was supported in full with funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the New Jersey State Library.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing one-on-one and group training on topics such as computer basics, email, internet use, and Microsoft Office products to assist residents with job seeking, employment, social service needs, homework help, and life skills
- Coordinating the schedule for the Digital Literacy Classroom including seeking and booking computer programming provided by outside presenters
- Assisting customers of all ages during their library visit including working at the circulation and children’s public service desks
- Collection development including purchasing, weeding and upkeep of the assigned collection area
- Community outreach
- Performing other duties as assigned
- May act as the Person-In-Charge of the branch or be scheduled at other Library branches bases on need
Education/Certification/Experience/ Requirements:
Librarian 1 requires: A Master's degree in Library or Information Sciences in a library program accredited by the American Library Association or from a New Jersey College Master's program in Library Science that has been deemed acceptable by Thomas Edison State College. Librarian 2 requires: One year of full time equivalent professional librarian experience as well as the requirements listed above. *Must posses a NJ Professional Librarian Certificate or obtain the certificate upon hiring.
