Librarian 1, Adult Services - Sussex County Main Library - Part-Time, 25 hours/week
The Sussex County Library seeks a professional librarian for the Adult Services Department at the Main Library in Frankford, NJ. Duties include reference, assisting patrons with technology, collection development, & social media.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, comfort with technology, and a customer-oriented approach to service. Ability to work with a diverse public to provide outstanding reference and programming for customers of all ages is essential. If you are patient, resourceful, technically adept, and adaptable, this position is for you. Recent MLS graduates encouraged to apply.
An MLS/MLIS degree from an ALA accredited institution and a NJ Professional Librarian Certificate is required. The schedule is 25 hours per week, including at least one night per week and one Saturday per month. $22.28/hour.
