Does anyone know how the Gale and Ebsco products differ? Does JACA offer something of value that the Gale product does not?

Hey Luis,
I was on the statewide database review committee this spring and I test-drove Gale Test and Career Prep. One huge difference between it and Ebsco's Learning Express is that the Gale product can be used by ANYONE in the state, not just someone who has a public library card. This means that K-12 and college students can access the resource as easily as public library users. In addition, Gale's Test & Career Prep also has a nice phone app version (though it can be used on a computer as well).

As part of their contract with the State Library that begins in July, Gale will provide training to library staff so that we can all get familiar with this new resource and begin promoting it to our library patrons.
