Head of Adult Services, Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library
The Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library seeks an enthusiastic, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented librarian to join our friendly leadership team.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reference and readers’ advisory service
- Collection development
- Maintenance and ongoing evaluation of electronic resources
- Department budget management
- Outreach
- Programming
- Supervision/scheduling of hourly staff members
Requirements:
- MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program
- Interest in emerging technologies and familiarity with current trends in public library service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Available to work 35hrs/week (including 1 night and weekends as needed)
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable
Annual salary: $66,654 plus excellent benefits package
