Warren County Library-Southwest Branch
The branch manager will lead a team of 9 employees in our newest and busiest branch located near Phillipsburg NJ.
The manager will be responsible for:
- Promoting good customer service and relationships in the community
- Responds to and resolves patron complaints and concerns in a timely and courteous manner;
- The operation of the branch and its services,
- Supervising, scheduling, and directing staff
- Collection development and management at the branch and system level
- Outreach to the community
- Developing and coordinating programs and services
- Evaluating, and training staff
- Reporting building problems to ensure repair and maintenance of facilities.
As part of the management team, you will participate in the development of policy, procedures, and services.
This is a civil service position, Title Code 03902, and requires a minimum of three years as a librarian, and a NJ license as a Professional Librarian.
Applicants must comply with the residency requirements of the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7; Warren County residents are preferred. Starting Salary Range: $60,853-$64,117
