Where is this? The Main Library is the largest of the Sussex County Library System’s six buildings. It is a well-used facility just outside the town of Branchville, and it serves as the central hub of the County’s library system. The library system changing and growing; we mean to do that with great people.

Someone who is: not afraid of technology, excited to help Sussex County residents answer their questions, eager to participate in a team-based approach to running our Business & Project Center, detail-oriented, & interested in delighting library patrons. Not many public libraries in NJ have the resources, collection of local history materials, or the friendly, collaborative staff that are the heart of the Sussex County Library System. What else do I need to know? Civil Service position (entry level)—initial appointment provisional pending Civil Service procedure; 25 hours/week, including some nights & Saturdays; $19.39/hour; Bachelor’s degree & valid driver’s license required; public library experience or MLS coursework helpful but not required; must reside in, or relocate to, NJ in accordance with state law.
