Works in the Youth Services Department for the Atlantic City Free Public Library. A New Jersey drivers license & Bachelor Degree is required. Some weekends and evening hours.
Under the Supervision of the Youth Services Librarian the Library Associate assists in developing youth programs as well as overseeing the operation of the Department. Previous experience working with children and teens is desirable. The library will provide release time for employees seeking a Masters in Library Science (MLS) to an accredited program. Persons interested in eventually obtaining an MLS are highly desired.
