The Clarence Dillon Public Library located in Bedminster, New Jersey is looking to hire an experienced bookkeeper.  This position is for a self-employed contractor with an hourly salary and does not offer any benefits.  It is a part-time position of 4-6 hours a week and offers a friendly work environment with a flexible schedule.  The position is available immediately. 

DETAILS:

Will report to the Business Manager

Must be proficient in QuickBooks desktop

Be familiar with ADP Workforce Now (preferable)

Must have good written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to work independently and be able to multi task

Must have knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

JOB DUTIES:

Enter and process purchase orders

Communicate with vendors & other staff members

Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports

Reconcile bank statements

Work with auditors on annual financial audit and workers compensation audit

Make monthly and year end journal entries to close out the books

Enter incoming bills and process monthly check disbursements

Enter payroll ledgers into QuickBooks

Manage W9’s for 1099 vendors

COMPENSATION:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
