The Pequannock Twp. Public Library is seeking a dynamic Director for its vibrant community oriented library, located in suburban North Jersey.

The library is the cultural and informational hub for a community of 15,157, ranging from many young families with children to 3,000 seniors in Cedar Crest Village. It provides professional services, collections, and technology tools to inform, enrich, educate, provide lifelong learning, and entertain our patrons. Our service-oriented staff includes 14 FTE's, 6 FT, and 4 MLS with collection: 78,500; circulation: 156,000; annual program attendance: 12,500.

It is essential that the Director be community and service oriented, be visionary in developing programs for patrons of all ages, possess strong interpersonal and managerial skills, skilled in applying technology and social media for the benefit of the library, have experience in ongoing finance and budgeting, grants, fund raising, and planning, and be eager to coordinate future construction.
