Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Library Technician I in Robert Wood Johnson Library of the Health Sciences for Rutgers Biomedical Health Sciences.
Under the direction of the Library Specialist II of Robert Wood Johnson Library, the Library Technician I performs a wide range of duties, both technical and those directly related to provision of access services. This position oversees the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of library computers, printers, scanners, and other technology used by both the public and staff. Also provides service at the main desk, which includes circulating items in the collection, contributing to library collections projects, and assisting patrons with printing, copy/scan, connectivity and technology. Provides assistance with training and monitoring work/study student employees.
