Position Available Part-Time Library Assistant or
Associate – Youth Services and Circulation
Rate of Pay: Applicants might qualify for Library Assistant rate of pay ($14.68/hour) or Library Associate rate of pay ($20.80/hour) based on education and public library experience.
Perform circulation and other duties under the direct supervision of the Circulation Head. Perform Youth Services duties under the direct supervision of the Youth Services Head. Act as a floater between departments, covering either department as scheduled.
Assist with youth services circulation and other tasks as needed. Assist children, teens and parents with readers’ advisory needs. Program docent as needed.
Customer service experience and computer skills required. Early childhood education experience and library experience preferred but not required.
Scheduled hours:
Wednesdays 5-9
Thursdays 3-6
5th Saturdays 9-5
1st and 3rd Sundays 2-5
Additional hours may be available as mutually agreeable.
