Position Offered: Part-time Library Assistant(s) 
Start Date: On or about May 15, 2023
Hours: Mon-Thurs 3pm-6pm; Saturdays 12pm-5pm; flexibility to cover other shifts as requested; depending on availability, position may be shared between two candidates
Education: 4 year degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Experience: Relevant library or other customer service experience preferred
Compensation: $20/hr

Job Summary:  The Fort Lee Public Library, serving two culturally diverse communities of over 40,000, seeks an outgoing & dynamic individual to join our public services team. The qualified candidate will demonstrate commitment and the ability to deliver superior customer-driven services to the entire community.   A proactive nature, flexibility, and a knack for creative problem solving are essential.  Duties include assisting patrons of all ages with using the library’s resources, circulating and shelving library materials, and assisting with programs.
