Temporary Librarian
Caldwell University in Caldwell, NJ invites applications for a temporary, full-time Librarian. Reporting to the Acting Director, Library, the temporary Librarian is responsible for providing services, research assistance and technology expertise to faculty, staff and students. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Provide in person and virtual reference services, including in-depth research consultations and employing a combination of print and electronic resources.
– Participate in the Information Literacy Instruction program by providing point-of need instruction to students, faculty and staff and teaching classes as needed.
– Supervise Library on evenings and weekends as needed.
Master degree in Library Science from an A.L.A. accredited institution plus one to two years relevant experience in library reference work. Candidates must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican, liberal arts mission of the University.
