The New Jersey State Library is seeking part-time ACP Enrollment Navigators (ACP Navigators) to provide community-based outreach and enrollment assistance for the Federal Communication Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides eligible low-income households internet and device discounts. The ACP Navigators provide information and individualized assistance to help eligible low-income households who need affordable home internet service or internet-capable devices. They assist with the application process at outreach sites or community events.

Free Naloxone Training provided by Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

The New Jersey State Library has an open position for a Library Assistant. This role would operate under close supervision of a professional librarian or a higher level Library Assistant in the New Jersey State Library and perform routine non-professional library work of a varied nature directly related to the acquisition, organization, maintenance and distribution of library materials.

The New Jersey State Library State Information Center has an open position: Project Specialist- Law Library, Branch Manager. This position has charge of the work programs and staff of a branch law library that provides specialized legal reference service, print and digital collections management, project management, and lending; does related work as required.

The NJLA T-Shirt Fundraiser is BACK! It’s the same grunge-print Jersey pride sentiment in super soft tri-blend shirts you know and love with new colors and sleeve lengths! Long sleeve colors are charcoal and navy ($30) and short sleeve colors are navy, red, green and heather purple ($25). The campaign ends May 7 so they are shipped in time for the NJLA conference. Libraries continue to define and refine their role as providers of digital literacy services as computer and technology skills become increasingly important for individuals to access educational, healthcare, workforce, and government resources. However, digital literacy does not stand on its own. Understanding the broader scope of literacy is crucial for the effective delivery and implementation of digital literacy programs.

LibraryLinkNJ, The New Jersey Library Cooperative (LLNJ), is seeking strong library advocates to join its Executive Board to serve in the following positions, each serving a three year term beginning July 1, 2023:

Libraries Without Borders-US (LWB-US) is a nonprofit that works to expand the outreach of public libraries. Currently they're partnering with public libraries across the state of Connecticut to conduct community needs assessments and implement strategic interventions for previously unserved or underserved communities. The end result will position these libraries to better serve people who might not typically use libraries.
