The Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library seeks an enthusiastic, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented librarian to join our friendly Adult Services team.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reference and readers’ advisory service
- Collection development
- Programming
Requirements:
- MLIS from an ALA-accredited program, or degree near completion
- Interest in emerging technologies and familiarity with current trends in public library service
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible schedule
Schedule: Mondays, 5-9pm, Wednesdays, 5-9pm, Saturdays 1-5pm, plus occasional fill-in hours
Salary: $32.80/hour ($25.34/hour for MLIS students)
