Position Offered: Head of Reference & Technology Services
Start Date: On or around July 15, 2024
Hours: 35 hours weekly, incl. one evening, rotating Saturdays and Sundays
Education: MLS or related Masters
Experience: Five (5) years librarian experience preferred; two (2) of which should be in a supervisory capacity
Compensation:   $75,000 – $83,000 annually, commensurate with experience; includes benefits

Job Summary:  The Fort Lee Public Library, serving two culturally diverse communities of over 40,000, seeks a dynamic and innovative librarian to lead our reference team and technology services.  The qualified candidate will possess a strong knowledge of and commitment to teaching emerging technologies as well as the ability to deliver superior customer-driven services. In addition to leading our reference team, the Head of Reference & Technology Services will be responsible for all Library technology and equipment,  act as the training coordinator for public and staff computer classes, maintain the library’s website & digital collections, and provide overall technical support for the staff and public.
