Meetup Description

Tight Library Budget!
Let’s Share Free Resources

Library staff make miracles happen with limited financial resources. Let’s gather in a casual setting to share those free resources (programs, vendors, speakers, performers …). Tips, hacks & tricks are welcomed too. It’s time to brag about what you have done. We are here for it. Come to learn, network & appreciate the work of NJ library staff.

Light refreshments will be served. A simple craft will be available for those who want to indulge.

Please RSVP by June 20 via email at LatinaLibraryAssistant [at] gmail.com (LatinaLibraryAssistant[at]gmail[dot]com)

Limit: 40 attendees

The Stratford Public staff looks forward to your visit.

Let's Talk Zines!

Date & Time
-
Meetup Description

Zines and zine-making are easy ways toward inclusive collaboration between your library and your patrons. Join us at this casual in-person gathering to talk about what zines are, how easy they are to create and share, and ways to offer them alongside other forms of standard library publications. Drop in anytime during these 3 hours (stay as long or as little as you like) to learn about art journaling, read some zines, browse reference books about zines, and maybe make a zine or two! Bring your curiosity and questions, and if you’ve begun a zine library, share your successes and failures - we want to build a strong support network of “Zine Librarians”! Registration isn't required but please let us know if you think you'll be attending (so we can have enough snacks!): https://forms.gle/WchfNzgcNiDm4wbo6
