I started my library journey in 2020, by contacting local librarians and workers on their experiences.

My name is Melody Scagnelli-Townley and I am the Library Director at Bayonne Public Library. Before becoming the Director, I spent seven months as the Interim Director. Before that, I was the Outreach Librarian for 3.5 years.

I've been a senior administrator at large public libraries for the past 15 years, and I love helping other library works maximize their strengths in order to provide the best possible service that we can for our communities.

I am an Adult Services librarian at Piscataway Public Library. I started my library career as a circulation clerk at an academic library.   Later, while serving as a library assisant, I began studying for my MLIS at Rutgers University.

I've been a librarian for 25+ years, and have worked in a variety of libraries and jobs.

I have been the Children's Coordinator for two years and was an elementary and preschool teacher for roughly ten years prior.

I've worked in various customer service sectors in leadership roles - restaurant, retail, television, and libraries. Supervision, change management, and special projects are my wheelhouse areas.

I am a media specialist at Governor Livingston High School's Instructional Media Center in Berkeley Heights, NJ.  My passions in librarianship include social justice, access, and intellectual freedom.

Hi! My name is Justin Savage and I'm entering my fourth year as a Research and Reference Librarian at Montclair State University's Harry A. Sprague Library.

I am a Senior Library Assistant at the Burlington County Library System, Bordentown Branch, where I participate in initiatives involving partner and library events (ELL/ESL, TBBC, citizenship and more). I am a member of the BCLS Inclusion, Di
