Join the management team at the Atlantic City Free Public Library (ACFPL) as the Adult Services Librarian (full time) and help provide responsive services to our vibrant and diverse community. The responsibilities include: providing professional library services to the general public on a day-to-day basis; Responsible for public services for adults; coordinates adult collection development and oversees our branch library. Some evening and weekend hours will be included in your weekly schedule.
The position requires a Masters in Library Science from an accredited University and excellent organizational and communications skills. Candidates must have customer service experience and a minimum of three years supervisory experience is preferred. Applicants that will graduate with an accredited MLS degree in the Spring of 2023 will be accepted. The salary range is Librarian 1 ($57,945. annually) and Librarian 2 ($66,654 annually) depending upon experience. An excellent benefits package as well as pension plan is included.
