Building Chess Programs in Libraries - free event on Aug. 7 at 7 pm

This event will be held at the Princeton Public Library in our community room on Monday August 7 at 7 pm. Free chess sets for 10 libraries will be handed out. Details below and at this link

Impact Chess gives a presentation that covers why chess is a good fit for libraries and how the game benefits children in their cognitive development and critical thinking skills.

In partnership with public libraries, Impact Chess offers free chess instruction to children along with an opportunity to play with others.

Representatives of the first 10 libraries attending will receive a free chess set, courtesy of Impact Chess. The event includes a mixer for chess enthusiasts with refreshments.

Registration is suggested but not required (no library card needed to register)
