Location: M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library, Voorhees
Salary: $25.1387 per hour ($45,752.43 annually-Librarian 1)
$26.3950 per hour ($48,038.90 annually-Librarian 2)
Schedule: 35 hours per week, include days, evenings & weekends
The Camden County Library System makes customer service and community engagement a priority and strives to help communities reach their aspirations through library services.
Duties include:
-developing and presenting Youth Services programming
-providing reference and reader’s advisory services to all ages
-answering questions in-person, over the phone and by email
-assisting customers on the public computers
-collection development including purchasing, weeding, and upkeep of the assigned collection area
-proactively conducting outreach to the local community and organizations
-assisting at the circulation desk as needed; and performing other related duties as required
-may act as the Person-in-Charge of the branch or be scheduled at other Library branches based on need
Education/Certification/Experience/ Requirements:
A Master's degree in Library or Information Sciences in a program accredited by the American Library Association or from a New Jersey College Master's program in Library Science that has been deemed acceptable by Thomas Edison State College. Must possess a NJ Professional Librarian Certificate or obtain the certificate upon hiring.

Librarian 2 requires: One year of full time equivalent professional librarian experience as well as the requirements listed above.
