Registration is now open for the 2022 NJLA Conference at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.

Headlining the 2022 NJLA Conference will be a conversation with NY Times best selling author Imbolo Mbue (Friday), and academic librarian Xan Goodman (Thursday) speaking on humble leadership and cultural humility frameworks to navigate change.

Other notable speakers include Robin Bradford (2018 Library Journal Mover & Shaker, and 2016 RWA Cathie Linz Librarian of the Year) and R. David Lankes (Virginia & Charles Bowden Professor of Librarianship at the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Information).

Robin Bradford will be presenting a Wednesday pre-conference and a Thursday morning regular session on building, promoting, and marketing diverse collections.

R. David Lankes will be the guest speaker in the New Jersey State Librarian’s program on Thursday  morning.

More than 40+ innovative library vendors will be demonstrating exciting new products and services for public, academic, school, and special libraries. Companies on-hand for 2022 specialize in technology, design, furniture, construction, book publishing and distribution, and much more. Register now through May 16 for early bird rates. You can also stay at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center for the low NJLA rate of $79 (plus resort fee) when booking in the NJLA block on or before May 10. Rooms in the NJLA block are scheduled to be completely renovated by June 1.
