SURVEY - NJ Broadband Access Study Commission

Forums

The NJ Broadband Access Study Commission is conducting a survey right now that will have a substantial impact on the way the State understands and approaches access to adequate internet service in NJ for years to come.

The survey is here: https://www.broadband-nj.com/assessment

It is vital that as many people who do not have access to broadband in NJ--whatever the reason--complete this survey. Please publicize this in your libraries, particularly if you are in a region that has limited broadband access. NJ's libraries have a unique and powerful role to play in providing access to the survey to people who would not otherwise have access.

Please note that there is an optional speed test component available before the survey at https://www.broadband-nj.com/. The speed test is primarily for folks accessing the survey from their homes, and should not be used in libraries with adequate broadband, because it could skew the results. If your library is sending out survey info via an email newsletter, you may prefer to use the link with the speed test.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact me at wporter [at] sussexcountylibrary.org.

Thank you!
