Where is this? Sussex County Library System, with 6 locations including our headquarters near Branchville, is among the largest public library systems in New Jersey. The library system is in the midst of a time of change and growth; we’re looking for great people to lead the way.

Who are they looking for? A professional librarian with 2+ years of experience in youth services, with interests in: leading & supervising a team of youth services staff, programming, collection development, school & community outreach, and delighting young library users & their caregivers across the Library System's six locations. Civil Service position (Librarian 3)—initial appointment provisional pending Civil Service procedure; 40 hours/week, including some nights & Saturdays; salary range starts at $74,500; excellent benefits; ALA-accredited MLS & NJ State Professional Librarian Certificate required; minimum two years professional library experience required; valid driver’s license required; supervisory experience helpful; must reside in, or relocate to, NJ in accordance with state law.
