Hours: Tuesdays, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., 1 Saturday per month 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and 1 Sunday per month 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be available on an as-needed basis. Weekend hours change during the summer.
The Whippanong Library, located at 1000 Route 10 in Whippany, NJ, seeks a tech-savvy, customer service-oriented, full-time librarian to join its team. The Whippanong Library serves the community of Hanover Township which includes the towns of Whippany and Cedar Knolls.
The Reference Librarian will provide reference, computer help, and other library services for the general public. Duties will include:
- Assisting patrons in finding print and non-print material
- Assisting patrons in using internet, databases, other digital resources, and Microsoft Office
