How can I use the Strategic Plan?
- EXPLORE what NJ libraries are doing! Investigate the Seven Goal Areas that interest you by browsing what others have posted. Click any Goal Area listed on the Strategic Plan Home page or use the Goal Area list on the right column of each page.

SHOWCASE & SHARE what you do or what you’ve done by posting to “Strategic Plan.” You can post anything about projects, programs, or services happening at your library or organization that implements the Strategic Plan. Click here to post your “Strategic Plan.”

How do I navigate the Strategic Plan pages?
Click any Goal Area listed on the Strategic Plan Home page, or use the Seven Goal Areas on the side column of each Goal Area page.
You can go back to the Strategic Plan Home page in any of three ways:
- Click "Strategic Plan" on the primary menu bar at the top of any Strategic Plan page.
- Click on the text link under "STRATEGIC PLAN HOME" under "Seven Goal Areas" in the side column.
- Or, click "Strategic Plan" below the menu bar on any Strategic Plan page.

Can I see all Strategic Plan project/program posts at once for quick scanning, or see summaries of each post for review without going to the full content page?
To see Strategic Plan posts in a single list view:
- Go to the "All Seven Strategic Goal Areas" page.
- You can also click "All Seven Strategic Goal Areas" on the Strategic Plan Home page.
- If you are in a Goal Area page or an individual post page, go to "All Seven Strategic Goal Areas" in the side column and then click "All Seven Strategic Goal Areas".
To read brief summaries of Strategic Plan posts without going to the full content page of each post:
- Go to each Goal Area page.
- When a post interests you, click the project/program title (post title)* or "Read more" to view the full content of the post.
Note: You do not have to log in to view any content or comments, but you will have to log in to post content or to comment.

How can I post a project/program to the "Strategic Plan"?
- Click “SHOWCASE & SHARE” text link on the Strategic Plan Home page, bottom right.
- Also, you can find the links on the side column of each Goal Area page.
- You can also click here - “SHOWCASE & SHARE Strategic Plan”.
- If there is a URL for the project/program you post, it will be embedded in the project/program title at the top of the your post page.

Yes, you can!
- Log into your User Account.
- On a Goal Area page, click the “Add new comment” button at the bottom of the post you want to comment on.
- Or, on a full content post page, click the “Add new comment” text link at the bottom of the page.
- Add your comment and click "Save."
- You also have a “Preview” option before you click “Save” to complete.

Can I edit or delete my comment or my reply to a comment?
You can edit, but you cannot delete your posted comment. If you delete your comment, it would delete any responses threaded to it. However, you can remove your comment content by using the "edit" option, and see the instructions below.

How do I edit my comment or my reply to a comment?
- Log into your User Account.
- Go to the comment or the reply that you want to edit or remove.
- You have two options below your own comments and replies -- edit and reply.
- Click “edit.” Edit your comment and click “Save” at the bottom.
- If you want to delete your comment, replace your comment with "This comment has been deleted," and click "Save."
- You also have a “Preview” option before you click “Save” to complete.

- Click the “Reply” link below the comment post.
- Click “Save” to post your reply, or click “Preview” to review your reply before posting.
- After you review your reply, click “Save” to post your reply.
